The Manna program works alongside Iglesia Bautista Centro Shalom by providing bible instruction, life skills training, English classes, computer education, music lessons, schoolwork assistance, and a hot meal to nearly 100 children every day. We are working together to see that the next generation grows up knowing and loving Jesus!

Shalom CrossFit is a real gym where people from the community come and work out in a safe and welcoming environment. Obesity in Mexico is a threat to the health of our community, and CrossFit is how we help! We live life with the community through CrossFit and share Jesus through opening prayers, Christian music, and hard work.

Meeting basic medical and dental needs can be challenging for many in Tijuana. We have a place where medical professionals from the US come and offer free services to the community as a way to be the physical hands and feet of Jesus. Come be a part of Serving Tijuana!

School in Tijuana is not free. Each student's family must pay for tuition, uniforms, shoes, and school supplies. With these financial barriers in place, many families find themselves in a position where they cannot send their children to school. Centro Shalom provides children with funds to attend school through the School Sponsorship Program. We believe that education is one of the best ways to break the cycle of poverty.

Heart-wrenching poverty in the border city of Tijuana leaves far too many families with inadequate and unsafe housing. We identify community members who could benefit the most from a new home, and over three days, we repair their existing homes or build them a new one. This is a beautiful opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus.

Many people are unwilling or unable to come to church. So, we bring the church to them. We prepare an entire day of games, music, free haircuts, face painting, and games. Afterward, we conclude with a church service and a time of prayer. Mimicking Jesus, we strive to meet their physical needs to meet their spiritual needs. Iglesia en tu Colonia is one of Centro Shalom's most impactful events!
